The following committees and chairmen have been appointed
by our Chairwoman of the Board and approved by the Board of Directors at their first meeting
of the new fiscal year. If you have any interest in serving on any of these
committees, please give the office staff or Committee Chairman a call so we can
add you to our mailing list. Some committees meet monthly; others only meet as
needed.

Ambassadors:
Chaired
by Mike Hagan and Chandi Ankrum
Established to help mentor members through personal contact on a
regular basis during the first year of membership; educate new members on
benefits of membership; and serve as hosts at chamber events.
Environmental Committee:
Chaired by
Steve Morey
Covers conservation, green initiatives, pollution, water supply, sewerage treatment and disposal,
beach erosion, sport and commercial fishing, marine research and mosquito
control problems. Fairness Land Use Regulations.

Finance Committee:
Chaired by Vickie Banks
The mission of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce
Finance Committee is to safeguard the Chamber’s financial resources and
stability by working with the staff and Chamber committees in budget review and
evaluation of programs to ensure the future financial growth for the benefit of
all members.

Golf Committee:
Chaired by John Allison
Sets-up,
promotes and operates the Annual Golf Tournaments which raises needed
funds for operating the Chamber.

Legislative Affairs Committee:
Chaired by David
Ellenberg
Covers Federal and State legislation and leads the fight against
"over regulation."
Meeting Schedule: 3rd Tuesday at 9:00 am.
Tourism & Economic Development Committee:
Chaired by Suzanne Walters
Is involved in tourism development and promotion.
Provides programs to assist the local business community including economic
development, small business counseling, business start-up services, resource
center material, S.B.A. coordination, business retention and expansion.

Young Professionals
Network:
Chaired by Scott Campbell
The mission of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) is to
connect, empower and retain young professionals in member businesses through
increased opportunities for personal and professional growth, resulting in
future Chamber leadership developed through educational programs, networking
events and community activity.
